One Hub Wifi Unusable

Hi,

The wifi on my one hub has become unusable, connected devices lose connectivity constantly.

I am trying to work from home but my devices are constantly kicked off of the wifi!!

I have read the posts on here and it seems I'm not the only one with a problem.

I have disabled 5Ghz (That was even worse!)

Is there a proper fix for this?? Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.263

@chrisk2

It would help if you explained your specific problem in more detail as it might be totally different to the OP's.

If it's wireless you could try a BT Smarthub 6. They are cheap from auction sites. Settings will be found here. https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/Using-the-BT-Smarthub-6-on-a-Plusnet-Account/m-p/1587673#M85...

Re: One Hub Wifi Unusable

Hi Baldrick1

My wifi has been dropping out more and more and now i am working from home it is getting very frustrated. I have tried changing the wireless channel and disabling the 5gz.

This has been on multiple devices including laptops, mobiles and smart speakers and even when close to hub.

Plusnet checked the line and found a fault which Openreach have repaired and the line is now fine but the Wifi drops still occurring. Plusnet are now sending me a new hub to try, should receive it this week
