None of my network shares connect since getting a Hub Two

So I've historically bought Netgear routers, but when I moved home recently I thought I'd retire my 10 year old router and use the one Plusnet provided (Hub Two). Everything has been smooth, speeds have been good, online gaming etc has been fine. Today is the first time I've run into trouble.

I had a few shared folders on my Windows PC that I would connect to with my steam deck and macbook. Now nothing will connect. I've been tearing my hair out all day trying to change different settings, creating new shares, flushing caches. Nothing works. My macbook sees the windows share but whenever I try and connect it fails. Same thing happens on steam deck, it attempts to connect and fails. I figured the only thing that has changed in my setup is the router..,

Any help would be appreciated before I throw this thing in the bin!

@automatom welcome to the forum

Chances are windows has recognised a new network profile and changed the network from Private to Public

I would try Private if it's currently Public

I got really excited for a minute because what you said was true, although after changing it to private, rebooting the pc, and also rebooting the router, it still won't connect
