New router

Got a new router after the other broke when updated over Christmas received my new router today set it up all the lights are green the internet and wifi light flash green connected to my phone shows full strength but nothing will load as if it's not connected why isn't it working?

Hi,

I assume you've logged into the router through a browser answer up you username and password?  Type 192.168.1.254 into the address bar of any browser and log in as admin. Those details will be on the back of your router.

You can then enter your Plusnet username and password and it should connect.

Failing this,ring PN for help and they'll guide you through it.

When I type that number in it brings up my brothers wifi which is next door to me how do I get it off his and on to mine?

You need to go in to your wifi settings and look at all the available networks. Select your router, not your brother's. You will find its SSID on a label fixed to the router. Then log into your router, you will find the password again on this label.
