My wifi signal does not reach parts of my house

I live in a bungalow which is not very large, but with the router situated at one end of my house, there is virtually no wifi signal after approx 30 ft away from the router. A bit further and there no wifi signal at all. Clearly I need some sort of wifi extender but I'm not technical and I wondered if someone could recommend a wifi booster? There seems to be different type e.g. ones that use the main electrical wiring, others that I think are wireless extenders and something called a mesh extender? Help!!!!!

@DaveW1

You could have a look at the following

https://b4rn.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Home-network-help-V5.pdf

This is a document produced by an ISP called B4RN for their customers so you need to ignore all references to them and their equipment. However, it does speak about the various methods for extending WiFi.

@DaveW1   Welcome to the forum.

This will explain your options,  https://community.plus.net/t5/Tech-Help-Software-Hardware-etc/Distributing-Data-around-Larger-Proper...

Which is best for you depends on many factors like how many devices you have to connect, how widespread you want WiFi coverage, for example is it just two regions or throughout the property, how fast a connection you need and most of all, your budget.
