My Asus DSL-N66U stopped connecting :(

Hi, my Asus router stopped connecting suddenly and I'd like some help figuring out why. It happened when I was on the phone to plusnet and they did a line test (or something).

Anyway whatever they did broke my router or their own support for it, I had no net while they sent me one of their routers which I have now (and the net works on it).

Anyway, my upload speed is faster with the Asus router which is why I want it working again.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. I have found post on these forums with screenshots of the right settings, none have worked, I always used the auto internet setup on the Asus router, which also doesn't work.

Looks like it's in a bootloop to me. 

Have you tried a factory reset? and/or a different PSU

Thank you for responding. I don't hae another PSU to test I'm afraid.

I just did a factory reset though and it still won't connect. I'll attach the new log, hopefully it says why.

Could PlusNet have done something to stop the modem from connecting?

Have you logged on to the router and re-setup your username and password?

You are not providing much to go on.

Yes I have, it's all set up right, it's just not connecting. It has worked for years, the only thing that has changed, is whatever the guy on the phone at PlusNet did.

Or you have a faulty Asus? From what I have read they are not the most reliable.

I've found their reliability to be fine, have 2, one is 18 months old and runs OK. Can you screenshot your settings something's amiss. Is yours the same as this? 

Note: I use googles dns servers

I know it's a different router but the interface is probably very similar

I can confirm both my Asus AC 68 and 88 work fine with plusnet settings on VDSL

the only difference is my is set to automatically get DNS servers and for info

IPTV plusnet services work fine aswell.... some screen shots of the asus for WAN

would help.... Are you using QIS > UK>VDSL>PlusNet then enter username and

your plusnet password correctly? that is all you need to do and click enter..

What does "QIS > UK>VDSL>PlusNet" mean?

I used the auto setup thing. It worked for years, now something is different because the auto setup has stopped working.

I didn't use autosetup either, I prefer to choose my settings myself.  Maybe that's a clue 'shrugs'
