Moving away from Hub One

Having a lot of problems with WiFI with Hub One modem/router. Wifi connections keep dropping out and then it won't let people back on the WiFi. (Everything connected by ethernet cable is working fine).

Feel I should upgrade to a replacement modem/router - has anyone got any recommendations, I assume switching is fairly straightforward?

a lot of people have success with the BT Smart Hub purchased from auction sites, lots of instructions and threads around this board.
