Minecraft router settings...

I’ve read the notes regarding port forwarding to enable access to Minecraft libraries. One the drop down list of games mine craft does not appear. Are there any specific actions needed to ensure Minecraft (education) edition works? Please note my IT skills are limited!

You will need to create a custom rule, which router do you have?

It’s a Plusnet router, Minecraft isn’t in the drop down list. I’ve gone to advanced settings to creat a new rule, open port 25565 but unsure as to ‘translate to’ settings.

is it a hub one?
Each router will have different ways to set it up, so if you tell us which router it is then someone will be able to offer help

Hi yes it’s a Plusnet Hub One. I’ve added port forwarding to 25565 but still won’t work. Appreciate the help.
