Hi,
I'm looking at moving to Plusnet from Sky before they hike the price up.
While I'm doing my research (although a prev Plusnet customer) I have read the details about a problem with the supplied router. I need something stable as I work from home and need a reliable connection.
Should the router situation put me off moving?

There are some Wi-Fi issues that affect a proportion of customers but we're in the middle of a firmware update to rectify that. If you move to us and you encounter issues with the supplied router, then I'm more than happy to help you out.

Don't be put off by the Plusnet hub.
In the event that you have problems and the firmware update doesn't fix them all, there's an unofficial back up solution used by many of us. This is to get a BT Smarthub from an auction site where they sell for very little money. You will find more information and the easy to follow configuration instructions pinned to the top of the router board.

I have done the move across and my router has started to drop out the WiFi, which I can't have as I work from home.
If you could try the firmware update please.

@Datrigga1 - that's been done for you. You'll need to restart the router to apply the update.
