Linksys wrt1900ac,

To use this router am I better buying a separate modem such as TP-Link 300 Mbps Wireless N VDSL/ADSL Modem Router, and ditching the plusnet hub one altogether?
Am I correct in thinking the standard hubs are basic standard compared to the linksys wrt1900ac?

Welcome to the forum.

Why would you need the Linksys as well as a tp-link modem/router? What is it you're trying to do that can't be achieved with the Hub One?

If you explain what you are trying to achieve I expect you will receive appropriate advice. To be honest it currently appears that you have this Linksys router and don't know what to do with it.

I was under the impression the linksys router has a much better wireless performance than others, the hub one included. I mentioned the other modem because the linksys is only a router
