Re: Kindle Fire issues with DHCP on Feb 18th Firmware build

Laptop when directly connected got it's ip address straight away, and when connected initially to the 8port switch (plus powerline adapter) it took a reboot but it did also eventually get it's ip.

It's taken a fair while, but the desktop PC finally got it's IP back as has the Sky box and Samsung TV.. I'll leave the others to settle before deciding if any further action might be needed tomorrow.

Cheers for the assistance so far though @bobpullen

Re: Kindle Fire issues with DHCP on Feb 18th Firmware build

Devices are getting IP's OK from DHCP as it stands, but the mobile devices that connect via wifi are having issues, to the point that I find myself switching my phones wifi off to default to 3G despite being almost within arms reach of the router...

@teamdb, I think we've got some debugging running on your router at the moment. Hopefully identify something.

Hi @bobpullen, did the debugging uncover anything?

Hello @teamdb,

I'm afraid Bob isn't in the office at the moment however, I have sent a request to his department asking them to provide Bob's findings from debugging.

Thank you.

Re: Kindle Fire issues with DHCP on Feb 18th Firmware build

I'm assuming there were no findings..

I'll be honest, given the issues with wifi performance (wired is fine) I'm likely to hurl the hub one in the bin at this rate.
