Issues connecting mobile devices to wifi with Hub One

Not really sure where to ask this, but I thought there would be as good a place as any. My sister's and nephew's mobile phones can connect to the wifi network fine, but my iPhone 4 and Kindle Fire seem to run into authentication issues when I attempt to connect. I already split the 2.5ghz and 5ghz into 2 different networks, but those devices can only see the 2.5ghz network, which they seem unable to connect to. Anyone got any advice?

Re: Issues connecting mobile devices to wifi with Hub One

I know the iphone 4 works perfectly fine with BT Home Hub 5 type A (Hub One is a rebadged Home Hub).

I presume the 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless SSID names are different on your Hub One.

Have you tried manually changing the wireless channel numbers on the 2.4 GHz network?

Navigate to:

Advanced Settings -> Wireless -> 2.4 GHz wireless

Edit 'Channel Selection'.  Try channels 1, 6 or 11 only.

Also, what is current set for 'Wireless interface type' ?

Have you tried resetting the Network Settings on your iPhone 4 and Kindle Fire ?
