Is this router suitable for a FTTC connection?

Hi all, 

I've been having lots of issues with my router recently, so I'm going to replace it. Is this suitable? I know it was Plus Net in the title, just want to double check.

You need a VDSL modem for fibre, which that has as well so should be fine.

@Azakius Don't buy it! The ASUS DSL AC68U is the worst VDSL modem/router ever. It has the inferior Mediatek Chipset and is almost certain to give you problems with poor speeds and dropping connection.😧

As an alternative the BT Smarthub 6 will perform well and is available on a well known auction site for a reasonable price.
