Hi,
Approximately 3-4 hours ago my internet went off. I haven't changed anything and the service status says fine.
I have a new lodger arriving today; not ideal timing!
Any ideas what to do? If I login to the router it just says it can't connect to the internet and please run it's troubleshooting which obviously doesn't work
I've never had an outage like this apart from with virgin once for a day. This is over 20 years ADSL experience!
I'm not even sure if the plusnet router exists anymore... :=((((
Thanks for any advice

As you are using a BT hub then check that your Plusnet credentials are still saved. If the hub firmware crashes for some reason they sometimes factory reset to recover, resulting in the username and password reverting to the BT defaults.
If so, simply remove the DSL cable, re-enter your Plusnet username followed by @plusdsl.net and your password. Then plug the DSL cable back in.

@Baldrick1 absolute legend!
I didn't even think to look at the settings as I knew nothing had changed! Was going to try factory reset (after I got a few hours sleep!) but this was this problem and did the trick.
