Internet and WiFi lights continuously flickering on router

I’m new to plusnet and WiFi only been connected for last 2 weeks now. The WiFi signal is continuously dropping numerous times throughout the whole day. My sons iPad is constantly searching for WiFi signal and is causing him so much distress as he is autistic. I’ve had to buy another unlimited data plan from my mobile provider just to keep his iPad going. My overall experience with plusnet has been appalling as I was left with no boardband or home phone for 3weeks as the switch over was handled properly. I have signed up to an 18months contract and don’t want to be stuck with a provider that can’t supply WiFi for that length of time. I was told by a customer advisor to put my concerns and comments on here.
Hopefully this issue can be resolved and someone from plusnet can contact me.

Re: Internet and WiFi lights continuously flickering on router

You could try splitting the 2.4 and 5GHz wifi bands, it helps with Apple products.

Navigate in a web browser to 192.168.1.254.

Click Advanced Settings

Enter your Hub admin password when prompted (unless you've changed it, you'll find the default password on the settings card)
Continue to Advanced Settings.
Click on Wireless.
Click 5GHz tab.
Change 'Sync with 2.4Ghz' to No.
Change the name of the 'Wireless SSID' - I added a '_5' on the end.
Save the changes.

You can then select which one you want per device.
