Hub one not performing

So i'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
The Hub one just does not seem fit for purpose for myself and my family.
I seem to be getting packet loss through my wired connection and the wireless range and general quality of the connection is extremely poor.
This is the second Hub one I've had like this. I've had nothing but bad experiences so far during my time with Plusnet.
For the most part yes the download speed is good, but ultimately its no use when the quality of the connection is ruined through packet loss and poor wireless.
I have opened a ticket around a month ago but due to work and house being done out I went over my two weeks without a reply and so they closed the ticket.
Anyone know a remedy for this issue other than buying my own suitable router?
Or a way to fix the packet loss issue as it seems to me like the router cant handle the traffic.
