Have had a Plusnet HubZero modem for a few years now. Wifi poor on my laptop.
Wife gets v bad signal on her laptop ( about 6 feet range max!)
My plan is to get a Netgear router, connect to hubzero, disable wifi on hubzero.
Spotted this on amazon : NETGEAR R6120-100UKS AC1200 Dual Band Wi-Fi Router
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B071HWVV5J/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
What do you think ?
Or do plusnet offer any better options ?

A free prog. such as inSSIDer will show activity on the spectrum.
If your PN contract coming up for renewal you may well get offered a free HubOne router, if you ask.

Yes have done that. Now at channel 6.
Doesn't make any difference to wife's laptop.
Other devices ( chromebook, phones) are happy with wifi.
Can anyone recommend a router ? ( need ac and bgn modes).
