So just don't bother at all with the hub 5 or shall i replace the Plusnet hub with the hub 5 and then use the R7000 as an access point.

 

Sorry to bother you but its just so i am clear on what's best to do.

The Hub One hardware is the same as a Home Hub 5A. Only the firmware is different. As you will use the R7000 for wireless there’s no point in not using the Hub One.
