Hub One replacement for Openreach modem / Netgear router combo

Just replaced a Openreach modem / Netgear router combo with a +Net Hub one. Nice to have the extra WiFi band and a free plug socket but it doesn’t attach to the wall and wonder if I’ve done the right thing?

No, this is correct.

The Plusnet Hub One is designed to be free standing, and not mounted to the wall; like the Modems were.

Make sure it’s high up (not on the floor) and away from obstruction for the best signal.

I'm afraid that it's not wall mountable and we unfortunately don't supply a version that is for VDSL.

I'd have to agree with @Baldrick1's suggestion regarding picking up a wall bracket from an online retailer.

I am thinking about reverting to the Oopenreach model / Netgear WNR1000 combo as although it only has one wifi band it coverage is noticeably better than the Hub One.
