Hub One info wanted

is there anywhere a manual for the Hub one...   set up AOK   as normal but  doesn't work on USB to printer   or USB  to external HDD     i would like to see some serious tech info on this.   also on how many wifi  units it can support... the sales  guy told me it was an infinite number!    my old TG582   would only support 3  wifi connections.

Re: Hub One info wanted

you can't use a printer with the USB port on the hub one.

i've got a usb drive working with it ok.

number of wifi devices at least 16.

it's the same as a home hub 5 so any info on that will apply.

some info here http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/hub-one-user-guide.shtml

You'd hope so, but we're experiencing lots of lag and dropouts once we go above 5 devices. Have raised a ticket but struggling to get past the "have you turned it off and on again" step Sad

Re: Hub One info wanted

interesting that was from my personal experience - 4 x phone, laptop, tablet which are pretty constantly on plus other things like game consoles, printer that are often on.

not experienced the symptoms you're seeing. is it any particular device that's suffering?

Have you looked at wifi channel congestion / overlap?  See inSIDDer - a software tool which displays the use of the wifi spectrum in your locality.  V3 is free.
