Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

My internet keeps dropping out when high in bandwidth.  Could I please have the latest firmware sent to my router please?

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

@Calam & @Jaketheb, both of your devices are already running the latest firmware revision (4.7.5.1.83.8.237.2.2). This can be determined by logging into the router interface and checking the footer where it will display both the version, and the last time there was a software update.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

Hi,

I inherited a PlusNet Hub One router from my daughter last December when she moved out of her flat and thus I swapped out my old 2704n router and BT openreach VDSL2 modem for the Hub One mainly to reduce the box count. I changed the user id and password to my account and it connected fine.

I would like to upgrade the router to the latest firmware.

The serial  number is +081441+NQ61404365

The router is currently running firmware version 4.7.5.1.83.8.237.2.2 Lasted Updated 07/08/17

The Tr69 log has the "https://ceased.tr69" entry in addition to the "Could not resolve" host entry

Thanks in Advance,

Victor.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

Victor, we can reinstate your router on the management platform, but you're already running the latest publicly available firmware version.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

Right ok,  yes please reinstate the router management so any new future version of firmware will be applied automatically.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

Hoping that @bobpullen or one of the team could pick this up for me please.

I have just started to use my new Hub One, I've had it since Dec17 from PN, but preferred to stay with my old Hub5B but this just died Sad

I can see I am on the ceased list;

(27992.470000) CWMP: Server URL: https://ceased.tr69.p; Connecting as user: ACS username

and firmware is;

Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.226 | Last updated Unknown

Serial number: +081441+NQ7360XXXX

Could I be put on the active list so the firmware gets updated please?

(Curious why I'm on the ceased list when the router is new out the box?)

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

@dgilbert2, please factory reset your device by inserting something into the pinhole at the rear of the unit until the status light flashes green. When the device comes back up, you should find it's now on the Management platform, and will update to 237.2.2 within a few days (and at some point later to the build we're currently pushing out to customers).

@VictorTebbutt, ridiculously late response, but if you'd like me to associate your router with your account, then I'll need the MAC address of the device as well as the serial?

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

@bobpullen many thanks for such a quick response, it is appreciated. Can I do the factory reset reset through the routers /Advanced Settings/System/reset  menu? Its just physically easier if that is the same method, thanks.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

@bobpullen  following the factory reset last week, my hub one now seems to be making the correct TR069 connection each day, but no signs yet of any firmware update (its still on 4.7.5.1.83.8.226). Is there anything else I need to do?

No signs of an update yet to 237.2.2, or am I just being impatient? Smiley

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

@dgilbert2, I've just upgraded your firmware to the latest version. Your router will have rebooted to apply the update so apologies if you were in the middle of anything.
