@HJNest, thanks. I've made some changes at this side. If you factory reset the device, the update should come through within a day or two.

@bobpullen Thanks Bob, I'm assuming I factory reset using the pinhole on the router, but before I try that, would you recommend updating the firmware even though my router has been working well without updates? It might seem like a silly question but I know that updates can sometimes have a negative impact when you're not already experiencing bugs or performance issues.

I wouldn't expect you to encounter any issues after updating. I'm yet to encounter a customer that has.

We had a problem after firmware update, but it was the same problem as before the update, our solution was to buy another router, so not sure if later updates fixed this issue ever.
The problem was if used to access a SIP trunk provider on port 5600 the hub 1 selectively turned off its firewall automatically.
We couldn't get a response as to when or if it would be fixed (some on helpdesk even suggested this was a bug by design), so we replaced the router and saw traffic hitting our software firewall cut to zero from approx 1500 intrusion attempts per hour.
I also reported it to National cyber security centre as I considered it an egregious flaw, also present in BT business hub 5.0 which went to the same landfill.
Regards
Andy

Hi Bob,
Hub one working ok but think might be stuck in this cycle of not updating. Been on software ending ...226 for many months now. Few months ago software updated date started changing daily but still shows ...226. Last 3 digits of serial number are 578. I assume factory reset will be neccessary once I hear from you. Thanks in anticipation.

Don't bother with update because it will trigger u awful DLM on it. Wish I never bother in the first place as DLM now reduced to 73Meg because of Hub One rebooting itself for software version and drop my Sync rate from 80Meg to 73Meg.

Am trying to understand if the PlusNet Hub One Software (Firmware) has been updated to counteract the WAP-2 WI-Fi weakness known as KRACK. I have 4.7.5.1.83.237.2.2 dated 07/08/17 which is similar to the later updates mentioned above, but install date well before the US DoHS CERT dates given for available updates on their website.
Could someone from PlusNet definitively state both the latest software release version AND whether this has negated the Krack exploit. If either is negative then how do we obtain/ or when.
