Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

My hub does not appear to be updating either, and is stuck on a version from February. Is there any chance you could enable my hub to receive an update?

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

I have the same issue. Firmware has never updated since I joined a year ago. Current version it's running is Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.217.1.1.

Event log has a daily cycle of this:

08:16:04, 19 Oct. (4073087.300000) CWMP: session closed before all requests were acked 08:16:04, 19 Oct. (4073087.110000) CWMP: HTTP authentication success from https://dbtpnhdm.bt.mo 08:16:01, 19 Oct.

(4073084.760000) CWMP: Server URL: https://dbtpnhdm.bt.mo; Connecting as user: ACS username

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

If you both try a factory reset and give it a day or two, the update should come through.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

Hi, this is my first post here...in the wake of the KRACK exploit I decided to look into updating my Hub One's firmware. I did a bit of research and checked my Event Log and discovered this:

11:31:29, 20 Oct. (3916082.960000) CWMP: session closed due to error: Could not resolve host

11:31:29, 20 Oct. (3916082.920000) CWMP: Server URL: https://ceased.tr69.p; Connecting as user: ACS username 11:31:29, 20 Oct. (3916082.910000) CWMP: Session start now. Event code(s): '0 BOOTSTRAP,2 PERIODIC,4 VALUE CHANGE' 09:51:38, 20 Oct.

The same seems to have happened every day and it appears as though I haven't gotten a single update since I got the router in April last year.  I've been reading about the Ceased List and wonder if this has something to do with the problem.  Openreach had difficulty getting my fibre connection up and running because the space that was reserved for me at the local box had a stop put on.  My connection works and I've had no issues with it, but could this have something to do with the update issue or will I simply have to attempt a factory reset?

I tried raising the issue with customer services and they directed me to the Community

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

@bobpullen Hi Bob, did the 2nd factory reset and manually configured wifi this time rather than load up the backup file.

Can  you check if you can see it again please and push the latest firmware?

Seen this in the log. Is this the failed attempt to update the firmware?

( 163.340000) CWMP: Initializing transaction for event code M Download
14:05:01, 22 Oct. ( 163.340000) transfer complete: transfer error 9010: No response received from the upgrade server.
14:05:01, 22 Oct. ( 163.340000) CWMP: Download status=No response received from the upgrade server.
14:05:01, 22 Oct. ( 163.340000) CWMP: session closed due to error: No response

p.s. Any plans to update the firmware to address the latest WPA2 security flaw please?

update:

Firmware seems to have updated as below. Assume this is now the latest version and will receive newer versions as they come out?

Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.217 | Last updated 22/10/17

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

I'd like to add something that I didn't include in my original post.  My Hub one is currently running firmaware version:

4.7.5.1.83.8.217.1.1

Is this a recent version?

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

Is there any way to force a firmware update? Our hub shows this

Plusnet Hub One | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.237.2.2 | Last updated 04/08/17

Which is obviously not the latest version - have tried rebooting several times and nothing.

Bit annoying as clearly there's been an update for the WPA2 exploit but it's not being applied to all devices for whatever reason.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

Think you do have the latest version johnskelton.

4.7.5.1.83.8.237.2.2

Don't think there's any newer firmware version than you already have there.

Ah okay - the 'Last Updated' date threw me off.

Re: Hub One Firmware Updates

@HJNest, can you confirm the last three digits of your router's serial number please so I can ensure I'm looking at the right device?
