Hi I have a DSL-N66U router connected to my prevoius cable provider in Ethernet mode. I also have an unlocked Huawei HG612 in a drawer somewhere and would like to use at as a Fibre Modem an connect it to my existsing DSL-N66U (through the ethernet wan connection). The settings for the Huawei HG612 seem simple enough, but does anyone have the settings for the DSL-N66U side?
E.g. I assume wan transfer mode is (Ethernet Wan),
but then the Wan Connection Type property?
Auto IP
Static IP
PPPoE
Any others i need?
thanks
Steve

@nemo1966 PPPoE with your PlusNet username (with @plusdsl.net after it) and password (the one you use to access the member centre. That's about it for any PlusNet specific stuff. If the DSL-N66U has a VLAN ID facility then disable it because the HG 612 will handle the VLAN. Settings for the HG612 should be the defaults I would imagine.
