@BM57 in a ideal world, the 2.4ghz wireless should reach up to about 40m indoors. Problem is that most home environments are anything but ideal, you usually have less than ideal router placement, walls, and most of all interference from neighboring wifi.
Using a wifi analyzer to see what channels are being used by neighboring wifi is a good start, and changing your router channel to one that's least used by others. NB only channels 1,6 & 11 are fully non-overlapping. Experimenting with router placement is another, but that's usually limited by distance to the telephone connection.
The other option would be to get a wired network cable(cat6) to the cabin OR If the cabin has an electircity supply on the same circuit as the house then Homeplugs MAY be an option but they often dont perform that well.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
