How can I get AC band 5GHz?

Hey everyone,

 

I want to play on my oculus quest VR headset over wifi but I think AC band 5GHz is required.

 

BT Home Hub 4 is only a/n.

 

I'm wondering if I can upgrade to a Home Hub 5? (band 11a/n/ac)

 

Important note: I've had 3 seperate home hub 4s and they all made a hissing noise which is a fault.

Get a Smarthub 6. They have ac capability and are quiet, follow links in this post for settings.  https://community.plus.net/t5/My-Router/Using-A-BT-Smarthub-An-Update/m-p/1795292#M24601
