Homehub light too bright

Hi.
I have the white homehub fibre router. It has a humongously bright blue light on the front. Can I turn it off in the settings ?
It lights up the hall way at night !

There is a setting on the hub which will dim it down. I can't remember the exact location of this setting but it's definitely there. Try looking in the advanced section of the routers gui

Unfortunately you're not able to turn the light off in the settings although you can reduce its brightness slightly.

I stuck a wad of blutac over the light on mine to block out most of it - left a little gap so I could see if there are any issues with the connection. Shame you can't set the light to only be on when an error has been detected.

You can buy tinted-but-clear stickers of various sizes which are designed to be stuck over bright LEDs to dim them but still allow you to see the light status. They are called Light Dims and you can get them from Amazon for a few quid.

I think I rested the credit card sized card that came with the router that had the Wireless etc details on it against the light. Didn't look great but did the trick of blocking that blue light.
