HG612 to DSL-66U - Firewall on HG612???

Using a HG612 (unlocked) as a pure modem in bridged mode to the Ethernet wan of my DSL-66U. Do I need the firewall enable in the HG612, or is that for when it is in router mode?

Hi nemo1966,

As far as I know bridge mode does not support routing, so a firewall cannot be implemented.

The firewall will be implemented by the router.
