Full Fibre: Hub 2 with Google Wifi not playing nice

Hi all

I've just got full fibre and using the Hub 2 with Google Nest Wifi for the first time.

Just to note that I had 'normal fibre' running through a Draytek 167 (modem only) to the Google nest Wifi and it worked fine - I haven't changed any settings on the Google.

On the Hub 2 the fibre is going into WAN, the Google Wifi is on Gig1.

I tried the Hub 2 with wifi off (both 2.4 & 5ghz channels) but that didn't solve the problem.

Anyone with ideas on how to solve this?

thanks!

Fix

@Elliot75 @ Connect the Google wifi directly to the ONT. Don't use the hub2 at all. If the draytek was in modem mode ,then the Google will have already been configured for pppoe with your plusnet credentials. Plugging directly to the ONT should just work..

Don't worry you're not the first, and almost certainly not the last! The ONT is effectively a fibre modem.

Happy to have been of help

But won't that void the Prusnet diagnostics etc.
