I wonder what has caused our wifi speed to crash to almost zero.  Up until about two weeks ago, everything was fine, we could have two or three devices connected via wifi and all devices worked fine.  Now we find we can't have more than one device using wifi or everything just grinds to a halt.  We've not moved the router, or changed any settings.  

The wifi channel is empty, and not disturbed by neighbours (did wonder if they have changed their settings - but appears not).

So wondered if it was the router.  But doesn't appear to be.

Er, where can I find this firmware version info? I can see a version no on the 192.168.1.254 screens but that seems to be for the software.

Firmware is software that is traditionally hard coded into a memory chip. In this context the Plusnet software becomes firmware once loaded into your router by Plusnet, that is, the details you see is the firmware version you seek.

Thank you - someone at plusnet sent us a Hub One - so now we can share the wifi on two frequencies - and all seems SO much faster...
