I have searched the forum and see others have had a similar issue but not found a solution so thought I'd ask again
I have connected an externally powered 2TB WD Green hard drive to my Plusnet One Hub USB port. The Web route settings show the drive but states that the File Type is Not supported. The drive is formatted to NTFS and is fine with my Window 10 laptop.
Any ideas on how to resolve this.
Thanks
Richard

Welcome to the forum.
At a wild guess it wants the hard drive formatted to Fat32 rather then NTFS (Fat32 can be read by Windows without issue).
But just noticed you say its a 2TB drive so maybe not, could be a restriction in the Hub firmware, never tried on mine.
Sorry can't help further.

Its not that wild a guess! NTFS is not supported, the drive needs to be formatted FAT32
2Tb might also be a problem...

I looked at using the USB port on BT hubs. They need use of the SMB1 protocol which is not generally used these days because of security concerns. In Win 10 you need to enable it to get it to work as from memory the default is SMB2.
In the end I decided to do the job properly and bought a small 2 bay NAS unit without any disks and put my spare drives in there. It works a treat.
