Does Plusnet Router USB Power Devices?

I'm setting up my Hive heating thermostat which needs connected to the router via ethernet. Just wondering if the USB port on the router would provide enough power to run it? Saves having to have something else from being plugged into the 240 socket.

The hub one is capable of providing 500mA of current to a USB device.

How reliable it is is something I can't answer.
