Disabled firewall (Plusnet Hub One) still blocking traffic

To helping debugging a port forwarding issue, I disabled the firewall entirely. 

Got the message "Changes made" or similar.

Traffic is still blocked.

I am using https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to test which ports are open

The effect of disabling the firewall is clear =>  "Allows all traffic to pass through the Firewall.".

Restarting makes no difference.

What is the fix please, I need the firewall to work as it should!

Port forwarding does work with the Hub 1 a little more detail may help assist.
i.e. what ports are you trying to forward, have you tried connecting to the app whilst on the lan etc.
