I see where you are coming from. Not having a broadband connection, I can only check with no input, but after putting it into bridge mode and getting a pink light, as you say, after a reboot it reverts to a flashing orange light.

However, I note that there is no wireless access (I haven't checked hard wired), so I assume that it's still in bridge mode, but with an irritating flashing orange, rather than a constant pink light.

Thanks for that idea - I hadn't looked in a long while but for a tenner or so worth trying!

Yeah, this time last year the lowest prices for the same modems were typically £30 to £45.

 

I use both the 130 and 167 modems, each have their advantages and disadvantages, depending on how nerdy you are.
