Cannot log into 2704n router from Mac & iOS Safari

Hi,

Maybe it's me but I am unable to log into the http://192.168.1.254/expert_user.html page using either a Macbook or an iOS device. I can get in from a Windows PC or an Android phone.

I get the message "password not correct" or something along those lines, even though it isn't.

Anyone know why this is ? Its really annoying !

Someone using Safari had an issue with another website at https://community.plus.net/t5/Tech-Help-Software-Hardware-etc/Trouble-with-a-site/m-p/1359556#M73350

Worth a try (showing solution mentioned here to help)

Went to Safari>Advanced>Website data> scroll to site and delete using edit button.

Double click home button, swish away browser then re-open and try again.

OK further investigation shows its a Safari problem only. Chrome works just fine !

Wierd but I'll live with it.
