Can my router be checked by Plusnet to see if working correctly?

I am having issues at the moment with my devices and router, not sure if the recent Sky Q box is the issue or for some reason my Plusnet hub is playing up.

is there a way for a Plusnet technician to review my hub remotely to see if the hub is playing up or the Sky box is affecting it please,

thank you.

@steedie1 Unfortunately, Help Team members are rather thin on the ground these days. Is it possible to disconnect the Sky box for a few hours to see if things improve? If they don't, then we will have to explore other avenues.

Thank you for your reply, just trying all angles at the moment, it’s a bit weird because it will work fine for a few hours and then go wrong again.

OK. Did you do as was suggested in the reply to your previous topic - if not, I would do so and see if that has any effect, although I have seen others who have had problems with Sky equipment.

Re: Can my router be checked by Plusnet to see if working correctly?

I have switched off hub, iPhones and sky box and then put them back on , hub works fine for a while, also now affecting a windows laptop and Alexa devices so not confined to just apple.
Next option will be to switch off sky box, although don’t seem to have an issue when sky box on standby.
Thanks for advice.

Quick reply before I get my dinner. The advice given to you on your previous topic may solve some of your issues, if carried out, but Apple have nothing to do with Sky.

hello @steedie1

A suggestion here is you are having wifi issues.

Take a look at this thread Hub-One-5GHz-WiFi-issue

Dan.

You need an update to .268 then. Don't know if the topic @Dan_the_Van links is the right one, but there is one where you can post and Bob Pullen will pick it up and action.
