BT Smarthub 6 setup

Hi All

I've been trying to setup a bt smarthub 6 but when I get to the section add your plusnet username and password I do not see an option to save my details? There's an orange caption saying the changes need to be saved but no option to save the changes. Could someone please advise what I should do. Thank you…

Re: BT Smarthub 6 setup

Hi dvorak

They are the instructions I used, when I get to the section Advanced Settings - Broadband - there isnt an option which says Edit Broadband Username so I manually removed the default username and added my usename and password but there isnt an option to save the changes...Thanks

@dave501

If you read step 8 fully it tells you what to do if there is no Save option.

The other thing to note is that to get the Plusnet credentials to lock in you must not plug in the dsl cable until instructed to do so.

Re: BT Smarthub 6 setup

 @Baldrick1 thanks for your reply, unfortunately step 8 in the instructions didn't work for me the bt username just kept being restored however I did find that clicking on the Connect option after the pn details have been added saves the changes.

Re: BT Smarthub 6 setup

The BT credentials being restored is generally an indication that the DSL cable has been plugged in too early. If the connection is disconnected by using the disconnect tab then this has the same effect.
