Asus 56u vs Plusnet router

I was so boosted thinking that a asus n56u router would be the bees knees compared to the plusnet provided router.

But They are the same to me. I thought by having 5 antennae vs PN's 1 antennae i'll have uninterrupted wifi issues.

Has anyone else splashed out for a router and found no major change?

Have you tried getting a wireless analyser to see which channels are the quietest and then changing your router to use those channels?

Yes, I have 4 other wife's around me all using 11, I have opted to use 6 due to the fact only bt-fon is using that number and is furthest from me.

Still get same performance as PN router, Is there a special test I can do to compare them?
