Hi,
How do I connect my ASUS DSL-AC68U modem router to my Openreach modem if I just want to use it as a router.
Which cable to do I connect?
Do I just connect an ethernet cable from lan port1 from modem to ethernet port 1 in my Asus router?
Thanks

Hi there.
You'd usually connect an ethernet cable into the WAN port at the back of a router, but from a quick Google search it looks like that router has a modem built in already, so you'd just need to plug the DSL cable from your telephone socket into the grey DSL port at the back of the router.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for replying...
I had to return the router back to the retailer as it became 'faulty' after less than a days use.
I decided to just get the RT version of the router after, so I will open a thread for that.
Cheers
