5GhZ on Hub keeps dropping out

Every few weeks something goes badly wrong with the 5Ghz channel on my hub - it stops working entirely (internet, not wifi signal), the entire hub has to be reset, 5ghz turned off etc before it works again. Is this an issue with the Hub itself?
