ok no worries. just need to get BT to confirm what the address is talktalk used then we can hopefully sort it all out.
i was only getting annoyed because i thought my talk talk would end on the 15th and i would be wihtout internet, but I can extend the talktalk service for another 30 days so it's ok now.

any update on if it was talktalk "freezing" the number that caused the problem?
