phone service live but no internet

Hi.

Had an openreach engineer around today and although i received an email saying my home phone service is live i have no internet. (red light on the router). Does the broadband part of my order become live at a later date? Also the engineer was the one who pluged my router in as i thought i had to wait till i had confirmation from plusnet?

So the broadband came on overnight,  Very pleased with everything so far.
