If this seems a bit stupid then I apologise in advance. Yesterday I decided to switch to full fibre. I went to the online sign up and got as far as selecting the date which seemed a bit unrealistic as it was next Wednesday but selected it anyway. Having got to the final page I decided to call to see how likely this was and was told not very but they would get back to me when I completed the order. The person I spoke to said he would order my router and have it sent out. I went to complete the order but the page was gone, nowhere to be found. In the meantime I received pre-contract info.
So, I don't know if this has gone through, although I'm fairly confident it hasn't, and I possibly have a router en-route so if I put in another order to upgrade when I get to the 'do you need a router page' I'm a bit stuck.
I know I need to call again tomorrow and see if I can sort this out but I wondered if anyone had similar experiences or opinions

Log into your PN Members Page and look at My Account / My Orders - anything mentioned there.
If the order did go through the should be an open ticket. You can check for this using https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search
You only receive a provisional install date. OR need to check various things before you get a confirmed date.

I assume the open ticket is about your upgrade to Full Fibre.
I'm also assuming you know you'll lose your landline when you move.

Yes the tickets relates to my conversation yesterday. I think the assumption is that the order is progressing. I was expecting a conformation email but the contract summary states it is pre-contract information. To me this is open to interpretation.
I do realise I will lose my land line.

PN can't send a confirmation email until they receive confirmation that the order has been accepted by OR and an install date booked.
