activation

Hello, I'm excited to get my new broadband with plusnet!

i have received my email & the updates i have received regarding the process have been amazing!

I'm so excited i just want to know it says it will be activated on the 27th

will it be midnight or a random time on the 27th

Sky seem to of cut off my connection a day before plusnet comes online is this normal?

Hiya. I suspect the date of the 27th we’ve given means by midnight (00:00:00) which might actually be by 23:59:59 tonight so your broadband may very likely activate with us today shortly. Sorry for the break in service.

hey, the engineer has came over and made sure everything is okay and I have my broadband and the phoneline is working but my broadband isn't? can anyone help me fix this?

Hi @sarahnicolson From what I can see your broadband order's not yet completed with our suppliers, but this should go live on the 04/06/21 before midnight on the day. We'll email you once it has so you can setup your router afterwards.

is there anyway I can know a exact time for my Wi-Fi to be activated? it's meant to be activated today but I have online meeting and if there is anyway to activate the wifi sooner or the exact time so I can know if I should wait for the wifi to be activated, if there is anyway that would be great. if not that's okay 🙂

Your WiFi will be active as soon as you switch your router on, however your router will not be able to connect to the internet until the BT Openreach commissioning is completed and the account is activated, which can be at anytime up to the date and time already advised.

Note that midnight on the 4th June is two seconds after 23:59:59 on the 3rd of June!

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
