Where's my Broadband

Signed up 18th Sept for fibre and phone, neither is yet activated

 

Activation date requested : 2nd October 

Status : Order processing 

No Router delivered

Yet first payment taken on 22nd sept ?Huh

 

No reply to Customer services Email and Can't get through on the phone.

 

I see from other posts this isn't a one off. What's going on ?

 

Bizarre.

Managed to finally get through to customer services.

 

Seems like the order was 'cancelled' as per some others. 

So the process has started over again i.e. another 10+ day wait.

The payment taken last month is deferred until the service is running.

 

It's not ideal but worth persevering on the phone / on hold if you can ( 35 minute wait today ). They are helpful once you get through.

Just to close this off..

 

Finally got sorted today.

 

20 days late but its in and working. 

 

Openreach engineer in house for 10 minutes then 10 minutes @ fibre cabinet.

 

been on and off today but to be expected with new setup. Hopefully no more issues.
