When will my fibre connection happen? 2 months and counting....

Hi. I ordered fibre broadband from Plusnet on 27th November 2020 and received the usual confirmatory email. I requested my change to supplier to happen 10 days or so from the order date. No further communication from Plusnet since then. I mean, seriously, it's been over 2 months and all I'm after is a change from one fibre supplier to another. This delay has now cost me quite a bit of money (I'm currently paying rip-off rates with my existing provider) and if a Plusnet competitor could have made the change more quickly, I wouldn't be so out of pocket. What's going on? Jimbob.

Hi Jimbob!
I had the same issue, and have just come off the phone with them. Apparently there was a technical glitch at the end of November (I also placed my order then) where the system failed but did not notify them of who was affected. Give them a buzz, it's a freephone number 0800 432 0200. I only waited a few minutes to be connected and the chap was very helpful and has sorted everything out...
Annoying, but these things happen...good luck 🙂
