When will my broadband be installed? New customer
I've been on hold for nearly 1.5 hours on the phone so thought I'd try here!
Signed up for Plusnet in early August and after various hiccups we still don't know when our broadband will be installed. All we know if that we'll be given an "update" on the 6th of Sept. Does that mean the can will be kicked further down the road then or is there any hope that we'll be getting the line installed at least? In the meantime our previous provider contract has come to an end.
The lack of communication is very frustrating. I work at home and I never imagined this would be the situation so long after signing up!
I would appreciate any help or advice.

I'm really sorry for the long delay with your order and how long you've waited to get through to us.
I can see engineers had to carry out external work known as "line plant" but the good news is that's finally completed so on the 5th September, we've been given an appointment date for an engineer to visit you on 20th September 8am to 1pm.
Let me know how it goes or if you've got to rearrange this.
