We've found a potential problem on your telephone line.

To whom it may concern,

Our router arrived today and we are supposed to be switching over from BT today, however, I have noticed our status on the account says " We've found a potential problem on your telephone line..." I was wondering if anyone could shed light with the exact issue here?

I find it hard to understand how there can be a problem with a line that was working perfectly fine with BT, unless it means something different when having to deal with the official handover from BT but correct me if I am wrong?

 

Look forward to a reply on this a.s.a.p. as my partner is now worried we will be without internet when she goes back to work from maternity leave in the new year.
