Waiting for line and broadband activation

I have switched from talktalk, I received my router around 2 weeks ago. Today (21/01/21) is supposed to be my activation date but I am still waiting for an email to say I can plug in my plusnet router. Anyone had this problem before or know how to resolve the issue?

@tazaoska Welcome to the forums. Is your connection going to be ADSL or FTTC? If ADSL, it can take up to midnight of your 'activation day' for all the automated systems to 'mesh'. If it is FTTC, it could be pushed back (or work as expected) on the day, depending on OpenReach engineer availability, as this requires manual intervention at your cab.

FYI, the emails don't always get sent, for some reason.

It turned out the issue was with BT Openreach, they hadn't completed the changeover order so Plusnet have re-ordered. Fingers crossed it's all sorted in 10 days time 🤞
