Upgraded from regular broadband to Fibre but still slow connection

Hi,

I've recently upgraded from a regular broadband to Unlimited Fibre Extra.

- I received an email that the switch would have happened on 9th June.

- Today 11th June I received the new router which I've installed and it seems working fine ( the light is blue )

- I just run a speed test and the connection is still slow -  Ping 34ms, Download 1.81 Mbps, Upload 0.91 Mbps

Any suggestions of what should I do ?

It's very likely that your upgrade has been delayed due to BT engineer availability. The automated system isn't good at informing of delays.

The new router will work on both normal broadband and fibre. 

Hopefully one of  the Plusnet help team will be along to advise when your upgrade is now scheduled to happen.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

thank you! So I  need to have an engineer coming over? wasn't sure of that - honestly the process is quite unclear !

An engineer is required to make the upgrade at the cabinet, not your premises.
