Upgrade to fibre requires a home visit?

Hi there, I just upgraded from ADSL to fibre and also ordered your recommended router to replace our old one. Does the upgrade to fibre also require a physical installation in our home or does it connect to the phone line as before? Thanks!

@tomnixon   Welcome to the forum.

The Hub One just plugs in place of your current Hub and the internet goes faster, no engineer visits or anything else is required.

Hi there, as Baldrick1 has rightly said it's a fully self installed service now so no engineer will need to visit you. I've just checked the order with our suppliers to get the service upgraded and that's all set to go ahead on 22/1/20. The new router should reach you a few days prior to then.
